Very nice work here ^^ Did you have to casting the whole body of the future wearer of that armor ? (so that it will be in good size)

I've been following your blog on this, and I must say its damn impressive and fantastic. I was thinking of attempting to make a suit myself following your guidelines, but I have no experience in prop/costume making. Would you recommend this as a first project? Or should I invest in learning some other skills first?

EVA foam is cheap and easy to work with. Its the perfect material to experiment with.

This is absolutely AMAZING. I can not wait to see the finished product. Your attention to detail is incredible. I love looking through all the images of the process you've gone through. Too bad you aren't doing helmets, but I understand the amount of work that would be involved. ;)

Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing pictures with us.

would look better if you spray those plates on some dark gray, black or such color, but still you have avesome skill, it must last huge amount of time to make something like this, you have my respect

Still have to finish the build and then paint the armor, so yes they will have different colors/finishes.

These are coming along wonderfully. May I ask if you're planning on doing helmets? I always loved the ME helmet design, I think they managed to come up with a slick, recognizable design that still looks functional.

No helmets for them planned just yet, possibly in the future though.

My N7 Armor blog at: [link] shows how I am working with the Foam. (check the older postings for some of the tools that I am using) After Dragon Con I will be making some videos that show in more detail how they were made.

I may make some of the Visors from the DLC packs but no plans for any full helmets atm. No idea on cost or if I will even be making any for sale at this point. Ask me again after Dragon Con.
